This week on Episode #128 of The Midnight Project, I’m bringing you a mix inspired by the vibrant spirit of this island. As I soak in the energy of Ibiza, I’m thrilled to share a lineup of tracks that capture the heart-pounding rhythms and hypnotic vibes that make this place a techno paradise.
My upcoming release, Transcendence, created alongside Raden (UK), is central to this week’s mix. Weska sets the pace with Yeah, a powerful opener immediately taking you into the zone with punchy beats and relentless energy. Weska’s talent for crafting intense, engaging techno has put him on the radar worldwide, and it’s the perfect track to kick off this Ibiza-inspired journey.
Another highlight is Belocca’s PAPI, a track that brings raw energy with its dark and groovy basslines. Belocca, hailing from Hungary, is known for his ability to create music that feels both primal and sophisticated, making PAPI a standout in any set. It’s a track that resonates with that underground Ibiza vibe I’m surrounded by here.
And, of course, my private edit of My Life by Pablo Say and Anna Tur adds that special Ibiza touch. Anna, a true icon of the island, channels the essence of Ibiza’s electronic scene into every track. Working on this edit allowed me to deepen that connection, crafting a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh.
