Hello Midnighters,
Welcome to the 111th episode of The Midnight Project. This week’s lineup is packed with pulsating beats and mesmerizing rhythms to elevate your spirits and energize your day. As always, our journey through the depths of techno will uncover new and unreleased tracks from some of the most innovative producers in the scene.
We start with Justine Dolan’s “Dance with the Devil (Extended Mix).” This track brilliantly showcases Justine’s reputation for blending dark, driving basslines with ethereal melodies. With releases on various underground labels, Justine has carved a niche for herself as a formidable force in the techno community. Her music often explores themes of inner conflict and transcendence, making “Dance with the Devil” a perfect opener for this week’s episode.
Next, we have my very own remix of “Whoopee” by Sergio Marini and Luke. Remixing this track was a thrilling challenge, pushing me to experiment with new sound textures and rhythmic patterns. I aimed to retain the original’s playful energy while infusing it with more profound elements. It’s always a joy to reinterpret a track and give it a new life, and I hope you enjoy the unique spin I’ve put on “Whoopee.”
Another standout track is “Medication” by Danny Avila (ES). Danny’s work is renowned for its high-energy, festival-ready anthems, and “Medication” is no exception. This track is a testament to his ability to craft powerful, uplifting techno that resonates with audiences worldwide. Danny’s journey in the electronic music scene has been remarkable, from his early days as a young prodigy to his current status as a mainstay in top-tier lineups.
