Spotlight on the Artists
Adam Beyer – “Pilot”
Kicking off the show is none other than Adam Beyer with his track “Pilot.” Beyer, a stalwart of the techno scene, is the founder of the Drumcode label, which has been at the forefront of techno for decades. His journey from the underground clubs of Sweden to headlining significant festivals worldwide is a testament to his dedication and passion for the genre. “Pilot” exemplifies his signature style—driving beats, intricate layers, and an unmistakable groove that hooks you from the first note.
Liquid Soul – “Crazy People (Victor Ruiz Remix)”
Next up, we have the mesmerizing remix of Liquid Soul’s “Crazy People” by Victor Ruiz. Victor, a Brazilian techno powerhouse, has made a name for himself with his remixes that breathe new life into original tracks. His ability to blend melodic elements with powerful basslines has earned him a dedicated following. This remix perfectly exemplifies his talent, transforming Liquid Soul’s psychedelic trance into a techno anthem.
Sebastiaan Hooft – “Void” and “Magazine”
Of course, I couldn’t let this episode pass without highlighting my own contributions. “Void” and “Magazine” are two tracks that I’m particularly proud of. Released on Redesign Records and Taktschleife, these tracks reflect my musical journey and evolution. Creating “Void” was a profoundly personal experience, channeling my experiences and emotions into a track that I hope resonates with you as much as it does with me. “Magazine” is a nod to my roots, blending classic techno elements with a modern twist.
