In Chicago, he reigned supreme, DJing alongside icons such as Ron Hardy, Mike Dunn, and Gene Hunt. As the first house artist to grace Dance Party USA and a regular on stations like WGCI, B96, and Evo Sonic in Europe, Cooper’s UK Top 20 success led to a celebrated appearance on the BBC’s Top of the Pops with Kool Rock Steady.

Under the guidance of Vince Lawrence of Jesse’s Gang, Cooper crafted a demo tape that launched his career with a record deal from the iconic D.J. International Records. His debut track “I Fear The Night” became an underground classic, followed by anthems like “Turn Up The Bass” and “Let the Music Take Control.” Cooper’s legacy endures with the founding of his own label, Chicago Vinyl Records, in 2013, where he continues to produce and release music on both digital and vinyl formats, steadfastly adhering to the essence of House.
