Chami and OPH are a part-time double act with roots in Lyon and a more recent base in Berlin. Fully integrated in their local scene, the pair have expanded their love of records to furtive raves on the outskirts of town (Minijob). Under the moniker Face 2 Face they play very literally one in front of the other, with a four turntable, two mixer set up, dogged passion and a little faith that kismet will devise whatever sound it may. A mirror framework that cultivates subconscious dialogue between the two and their crowd by extension Together they proffer a world that’s as stimulating as it is fast-paced; it’s deep, repetitive, ritualistic techno with a magnetic pull that’s hard to deny, at once cerebral and groovy.
